Ken is passionate about the sport of triathlon and lives an active lifestyle. Ken grew up in Newport Beach, California, and now lives in SF Peninsula in Northern Cali. He earned my pro card in January 2010 while graduating from University of California Berkeley where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ken competed with the National Champion Cal Berkeley Triathlon team during his four years at Cal. He currently works full time (that's right, full time does mean 7:30-530) for an up and coming Level 10 Construction Management company in Sunnyvale right next to the Moffett Airport and NASA Ames center.
Ken admires athletes that display enthusiasm, professionalism, and courtesy while competing well. He strives for this in every race he attends. Ken also appreciates the help he receives from other athletes and professionals in the sport as well as the support of family and friends. It is important to Ken to promote the sport of triathlon and take the time to talk to and encourage his fellow competitors.
